Paragliders invade Idaho Peak

Last Thursday a group of 10 paraglider pilots flew from Idaho Peak. There were two people doing tandems from New Denver. The wind was fairly strong until about 5pm and then there 10 paraglider pilots soaring about 1,000 ft above the 4,000 ft ridge south of Silverton Creek. The last time there was this many pilots in New Denver was probably ten years ago when I used to organize a September long weekend fly-in.
