I found this image somewhere on the web awhile ago of the township of New Denver in the era of the Japanese Internment Camp - during World War II. I'm guessing the photo is taken from near where the present day highway enters New Denver from the south looking north with Goat mountain rising up to the right. Correction - it must be the Japanese internment camp at Lemon Creek.
